Then it’s back-to-school season, and I’d like to share something we have at home that our eldest has been using since first grade.

I bought different types of drinking bottles since when he started kindergarten until he started grade school, but I have noticed that I have bought many different types over and over again. For us, it should preferably not be too “childish”, a bottle that is not leaky, not too heavy and that can be washed in the dishwasher.

I am a member of a parenting group on Facebook that talks about different things. And I saw that one of the parents had the same problem as us. So I just snuck out on the comments section and found out that it’s not just me or other parents who have trouble finding the right drinking bottle.

And I did my research and to my surprise there were many parents who used this particular drinking bottle.

It is not made of plastic, but of stainless steel that can be washed in the dishwasher.

I had previously noticed such a bottle on Instagram, but unfortunately I was not able to find it here in Norway, but after snooping around in the comments section I luckily found out where it can be bought.

We bought this bottles and tumblers at widforss.no in several sizes and types.

A “must have” for everyone!

Til hverdag og fest: Her er sommerens lekreste kjoler

Jeg kjøpte forskjellige typer drikkeflasker siden han begynte i barnehagen til han begynte på barneskolen, men jeg har lagt merke til å ha kjøpt mange forskjellige typer om og om igjen. For oss så skal det helst ikke være for “barnslig”, en flaske som ikke lekker, ikke for tung og som kan vaskes i oppvaskmaskin.

Jeg er medlem av en foreldregruppe på Facebook som snakker om forskjellige ting. Og jeg så at en av foreldrene hadde det samme problemet som oss. Så jeg bare snek meg ut på kommentarfeltet og fant ut at det ikke bare er meg eller andre foreldre som har problemer med å finne den rette drikkeflasken.

Og jeg gjorde min research, og til min overraskelse var det mange foreldre som brukte akkurat denne drikkeflasken.

Den er ikke laget av plast, men av rustfritt stål som kan vaskes i oppvaskmaskinen.

Jeg hadde tidligere sett en slik flaske på Instagram, men lyktes dessverre ikke å finne den her i Norge, men etter å ha snoket litt i kommentarfeltet så fant jeg heldigvis ut hvor hen den kan kjøpes.

Vi kjøpte fire stikker på widforss.no i flere størrelser og typer. 

Frakten var snar så allerede etter 3 dager etter så kom dem på posten.

Et «must» å ha for alle!

It wasn’t so long time ago when we got another sprout in the house. With our first born, we bought a used stroller on finn.no and we were satisfied because the previous owner took care of it really well.

With our second child, we also bought her first stroller on finn.no, the Emmaljunga stroller. It was nice and we’re also satisfied, but because we’ve had a very small compartment in our car, we must squeezed it until one of the wheels got broken that makes it quite hard and heavy to stroll. The wheels during winter were very good!

So we decided to buy a new stroller, and that the old one can be use on the kindergarten.

We took our time to check and do some small research before buying. 

I think we have to consider some factors before buying a stroller. 

The wheels are really important, that it can be use the whole year round. If you like to stroll in both cities and forest, so consider this too.

The size. If you have a space in your car or at home where you can just fold it and park it. I’m petite and for me it feels so bulky to have the bigger ones and the height ofcourse. Consider the hand extension.

The price. Used or New? First child or planning to have a second child? Is it worth it?

How long can you use it?

Consider if it is also environmentally friendly.

We used a lot of time thinking which stroller is accessable for us. We spent time checking on the stores, trying which one is the best for us. And we ended up with Easywalker Harvey 3 Premium.

The wheels are perfect, the size is perfect for both of us. My husband is 194 cm tall so the handle is really nice that it can be extended that long. Its perfect for our car and it suits really well with our lifestyle. We are a family that loves going to both forest and cities, so for us its a good investment.

We bought some accessories from jollyroom.no too, just like trolley bag and changing bag. You can remove the cover during spring and warm and comfy enough for winter season.
